Used a free week at Shangrila about 2 years ago & a friend happily owns a timeshare there. It's a pleasant place, small, run by an extended English family. Bit pushy about getting you to eat there especially for exey buffets. CD is a good base for day & half day trips around & about. No need to hire a 4WD - any car would be adequate - we just hired a bike. The snorkelling is good, I believe. Can get diving certification at Shangrila from Graham. The front room on the left facing the sea is great (forget the room #). For $50/week you can't complain, aye?
