Stayed there earlier this week. If you are sharing a room then La Walon almost next door is better value. If you want 2 single rooms then Masa is the better deal. Masa is a much bigger hotel & so has more ground floor rooms.
Apart from the price differences (which you can see by googling each hotel) LaW's rooms are much bigger with better aircon. Masa has in-room safes, rooms are much smaller & because of where the aircon is positioned (at least in the rooms I have stayed in) the front door is very cool but the bed isn't. Both have bigger than the usual miniscule fridges & a huge range of cable TV channels (few more at LaW). They are both good value for money, have good security & pleasant staff. Both are a tad tired but no biggie.
La W's reception is up some stairs - when Whoopee hurt her foot we would leave the room key with the staff at the restaurant - easy peasy.
