Depending on the size of the excess why not suggest that they post some stuff back. 20kg costs approx AU$200 to post. The post office will pack it into a box for them. As long as the goods don't exceed AU$1000 they won't have to pay duty or gst when it arrives in Australia either. 2okg of clothes will fit into one box and it will get delivered straight to their home in 3-5 working days. Make sure they don't put anything like wood, food, skin, shells, feathers etc as quarantine will want to look at it and may make them get it fumigated.
