Hi there,
Renovations seem to be in full swing when we arrived home this morning from the BGH. I saw quite a few superior rooms in the middle of being renovated, so I really think the decision is purely based on which side of the hotel you want to face. 0hey are building a new wing, but this is in the very early stages of building, so wont be ready for some time.
I personally don't think the new renovated rooms are that much better than the old rooms. If you go on to the trip advisor site and search bali garden, there are a few photos of the new rooms on there
