A couple of years ago our daughter travelled up to Bali with us. She'd had ankle surgery three weeks prior to our holiday, so of course was on crutches (and wearing a boot). Garuda arranged for wheelchair assistance so we were met at the door of the plane by an immigration official, taken via lift to the immigration office, where we paid our VOAs and all the official stamping was done. We were so thrilled with the service we offered the Officer a 'tip' but she graciously refused telling us 'it's her job'. No corruption there eh. Oh, and by the way - we had the same service when arriving back in Perth!
