I was making an enquiry at a small hotel in Legian over new years & was advised of the compulsary NYE dinner.
I emailed back that we were attending a friends birthday function that evening which was the reason for our trip at this time of year. The hotel kindly wrote back that under the circumstances they would allow us to avoid the compulsary NYE dinner.
The booking was for 6 nights accommodation. Very nice of them I thought
