Everyones opinion is different and this is ours.We booked into Bayu Cottages in April for 7 days.It was nice but it was not what we had hoped for,the staff were great but it is a bit hard getting up the stairs to your room.Swimming pool very small and not much room for pool lounges only 4 of them,restaurant also small.Open air bathroom nice but if rained very messy.The biggest downfall was no fridge in room so no cold drinks you had to go to restaurant to get ice and you were charged for this.Amed is good if you are a diver and if you hire a scooter as there is beautiful scenery to be seen but we checked out after 3 nights and headed back to Kumala Pantai in Legion which is heaven.We would not go back and stay at Amed as way to quiet for us but this is only our experience and opinion
