is a chronic asthmatic and I have asked people on previous occasions, politely of course, if they can put out their cigarette inside a resturant in Bali only to cop a mouthful of abuse. Even after explaining the reason for making the request... Our most recent trip (Sept 09) we had our 4 month old sitting at the table with us and a woman at the table adjacent lit up and actually was exhaling her smoke away from her and her friend DIRECTLY AT OUR TABLE. Smoking is legal and fair enough if you want to ruin your own health BUT as Jules says be considerate of those around you. FYI I am a smoker...
