It is not only on the street that they have to have a drink in thier hands. Earlier in the year we were queued up at Fremantle wharf witing to board the ship and yes, aussies with stubbie in hand. Not only that but they walked around the ship carrying a drink. Toung females wandering around carrying their fancy cocktails. Our questions was the same as yours why couldn't they finish their drink and then get another from the next bar?
