We stayed at the intercontinental a few years ago. The kids club was great. It is not free. The intercontinental was a lovely hotel but I found that for us personally it was way too big. Long walk to the pool, long walk to reception etc...The breakfast was beautiful. It is def out of the way, you need to catch a taxi everywhere and depending on the traffic it can take a while to get to kuta/legian/seminyak.

We stay at the Dynasty for a week or so each trip and the people that work in the kids club are just lovely. My children have just turned 6 and 9 and both of them (for the past year) think that they are too old for the kids club. They now just tend to make friends around the pool. I think that the facilities at the intercontinental kids club are better than at the Dynasty but the Dynasty is a much smaller, family friendly hotel. When we stayed at the Intercontinental our kids didn't make any friends but they always make friends at the Dynasty. The kids club at the Dynasty is free.

The patra also have a kids club. My children went for a couple of hours last year but it was very quiet, there was only one other child there so it was a bit boring for them. The kids club at the Patra is free for Australian guests.
