but I already found a lot of houses which are rented out really cheap if you rent them for 6months+ and pay in advance. And by the way I have a friend staying right now on Bali, he tells me that people who live here for long, usually live in 3-4bedroom 2storey villas and pay about 5k$/year you just have to look good and search directly for the owner. And I didn't mean I need a house ON the beach, I said not far from the sea. Not far meaning it's fine if I have to spend 20 minutes on bike to get to the sea. I need a nice area though, close to some groceries/markets... Actually I'm starting to consider looking for a villa in Ubud, although that's far from the sea. But you can go to sea on weekends, or maybe go to Gili which is much better as far as i understand
