The 'h' is left out.
You need a very detailed understanding of Bahasa Indonesia first as the grammars are not too far apart and only a few differences in pronunciation.
My own tactics with Basa Bali are to write copious essays/diaries over in Bali, on a laptop; locals are usually happy to help with glitches and you can then study when you come home.
My choice is Basa Bali Linggih Sor, which is a respectful form, offending neither High nor Low.
Email me, telling me where you're at and I could mentor you a bit.

My next fix is a week only from Sept 16th, then two weeks in November from 10th with Sunshine and a week in early Feb solo also. The weeks by myself occur when Sunshine goes to Melb to visit younger daughter.
Would you believe it? Sri Ratu only have room for me for 5 days, so packed is Bali, so I'll go to Su's Cottages for 2 days.
Rahajeng malajah!!
