It will be the start of the rainy season but don't let that put you off, it will still be warm enough to swim and may only rain once a day, but gee whiz what a rain it will be. You will see flooding on the roads and within 1/2 an hour it's gone, your kids will love it.
The Dynasty is a really good hotel for kids, the prices for there has skyrocketed with all the improvements they have made. Other hotels to look at in that area could be the Bali Garden Hotel and the Febris. Mind you, you will be lucky to get anywhere as Bali is really really busy at the moment and most of the popular hotels are fully booked.
