in 2005 and could see some orangutans about 15 to 20 meters away on a platform being fed, friends of ours did the Sanuakan side and had similar distant experiences. Where as we held an Orangutan (Billy) at Phuket Zoo and (Happy) at the Safari park in Bali. Both experiences were amazing.
I did like Borneo - but was disappointed in this aspect of our experience.
