If you fancy a nice steak head for YUTZ. Turn left out of Puri Raja and just before you hit the Jayakarta the road turns to the right into Rum Jungle Road (JL Werkudara) Yutz is on the left hand side just past the flying piano. Phone no is 0361 76 50 47. The Bintang is reasonably priced compared to other places.
The permada bank & ATM are also in this street.
A excellent money changer is located towards the end of the street (LHS) after you pass Courtyard Apartments (RHS). The road then hits JL Legian.
DVD's - I only ever use two places that have given good quality products. Jimmys Disc Centre on JL Padma - two outlets, I see "shrek" at the shop that is practically next door to the Rama Gardens Hotel which is on Corner JL Padma & Garlic Lane. Or Soft Comp opposite Bagus Pub Poppies 11. Kuta.
Jl Padma area has some of the best & cheapest massage places. try Kenko for reflexology ( diagonally opposite Indo National) 70,000Rp for an hour.
To get to JL Padma turn right out of Puri Raja and follow JL Padma Utara to the end. You will pass the all seasons hotel on your left enroute and also a great little warung "Bali Bagus" LHS just before you hit JL Padma.
