All the local bank ATMs I used would spit the card out last and only print statements in rupiah, but the Commonwealth one I used was different. It worked the same way as Aussie ATMs and spat the card out before the money.
It also gave me a receipt with my withdrawal amount in rupiah and also an account balance in Aussie dollars, even though my account is not with Commonwealth, but a local (NSW) credit union. My dad uses a different credit union and it didn't give him the account balance like it did for me.
