I have been travelling to Bali since childhood (I am family members still living over there) so taxi are nothing new to me, just hop in tell them where you want to go and what roads to use to get there
The week before last I was in a taxi and realised we were not going the correct way, thinking he was after a larger fare I told him we were going the wrong way but he just keep ignoring me. He said he wld take me to another place (still can't work out what he was saying) getting really worried I decided I would get out at the next lights which I did. I also thru him some money because I was not sure what was going to happen next. Everyone said that you shld have got number etc etc but at the time you just want to get out and I just couldn't believe this was happening. I am now really wary about getting into taxi and will not travel very far by byself.
