When we were there in November we were given a wrist band that they would cross off as we did things - ie. one cross after the 'animal experience' of your choice. We did the safari trip twice, i vaguely remember being told we could do it a 3rd time if we wanted but we ran out of time. Oh & you can pay a little extra to have a cuddle with another animal if you've already had your go.
The waterpark was really only for little kids (although we squealed our way down the slides regardless!), & there's a nice pool to cool down in for adults.
Apart from the things already mentioned by others there's plenty to do just walking around the park - similar to what you would find at a zoo i guess. I would really recommend going.
Often tickets thru your hotel are cheaper. I'd also suggest getting a driver for the day instead of the shuttle bus. We joined up with another family we met at the hotel. Sorry i can't remember what we paid. But this way we were able to stay longer & make the most of the day - the crowds vanished quite early in the afternoon with the shuttle, but we were the last group out. :)
Take lots of water with you, & comfy shoes.
