We love Kuta Lagoon hotel
But must add if We could not stay in a direct pool access room would not stay there.
The rooms we have stayed in are lovely and clean, the staff are really nice and helpful
Breakfast is a smorgasbord small and very basic,nothing to get excited about ,but everything you need is there,eggs pastries fruit juices etc.
Lots of Aussies stay there.
Be warned when leaving the pool to go onto your veranda the floor is extremely slippery, a good idea to put a towel down.
The hotel is in an excellent position.close to shopping, bars,mini markets and money changers
Have not stayed in a villa,or upstairs so can't help you with that
I do no the hotel gets booked out very quickly,
we stayed there last December,and had trouble getting a room for this coming August
