If you had a hotel and put up prices seasonally in order to increase your profit (which everyone does - its not a charity, after all) would you increase the salary of your staff for that period and then drop them back to their 'normal' pay rate?
Its all about supply and demand. Same in any business. Every country has seasons, and they have to make hay whilst the sun shines (so to speak). Look at petrol prices in Australia during holiday periods. Do petrol station attendants get a pay rise when petrol goes up?
