We have stayed at this hotel for years now & for the past 4 trips we keep coming back hoping that they get this problem sorted but I'm afraid this is the very last time we will stay here.
The staff just don't give a **** & they are ruining peoples holidays.
They are also putting people into standard rooms when they have already paid for superior rooms. When we arrived on the 27th they told us they were booked out & that they would ship us to another hotel & I stood my ground & finally after sitting in the lobby for 9 hours they put us into standard rooms when we paid for superior. I still haven't handed over the voucher & don't intent to as without the voucher they don't get paid.
In the 9 hours of waiting in the lobby we witnessed what is actually happening here. I just want to say they we are a group & had booked 5 rooms so that made it a bit more difficult for them, but people come in off the street & they sell the room for 550,000 - 750,000rp & pocket the excess money themselves & put the room money into the safe, we even tried to video it on our phones as proof that this was happening but they are too smart for that.
All I can say is if they try & stuff up your booking, tell them that you will not hand over your voucher until the put you into a room that you are happy with.
I have spoken with my travel agent & she told me that everytime she & the viva holidays rep trys to make contact with the hotel they get hung up on, so they will keep trying.She also told not to hand over the voucher.
I feel very sorry for the staff here & we have made some great friendships over the years & will always pop in for a drink & to say Hi but never again will we stay here, I think 4 times of being treated like the proverbial it has finally sunken in.
