I have taken my twin boys when they were 12 months old. They are coming again in Oct.
My biggest suggestions for adults and kids is accidopholus (although I cant spell it!)You can buy a kids one in powder form so you can mix it with their milk or food.
My boys went straight from breastfeeding to a sippy cup so I would put it in there.
I love the yoghurt makers you can buy from Kmart, woolies, coles. They are only $20 and you can buy the packets to take with you. this way you can have fresh yoghurt all the time which is another bonus to boost your childs AB cultures. You just mix the packet with water, put it in the container with boiling water and leave it over night. My kids love it and you could feed your child fresh yoghurt and fruit.
I took milton tablets and soaked their cups etc over night - I felt I couldnt wash them as best I could at home as I was in a hotel room so I used milton just to make sure.
Antibacterial wipes are great to wipe a table before you sit and eat - children dont tend to keep their food on their plates and if you wipe the table first then you wont be worried if they spill it and then eat off the table.
We bought a big tub from Matahari's and our hotel was kind enough to sell us the big 15litre bottles of water to save us lugging water to our room. We washed the boys on our balcony in the tub. This way they could spash and play and I wasnt worried about them drinking the water.
We ate all the food - the only thing was the food we ordered would sometimes take a while to come out and then it was way too hot so we made sandwich's to take and the boys could start with them when they got restless.
Paw Paw/Papaya is really good for tummy upsets and we also made sure they had some everyday - which wasnt hard as they love fruit.
