off staying in Poppies 1 lane,there are plenty of lone travelers staying there.
We stayed in the Secret garden inn in Feb and struck up some pretty good friendships and drinking buddies both male and female within a day, as a lot were on their own.
This place may not suit you as it is a bit on the budget side but we will be there from 21st july.
I love poppies 1 and dont think i will stay anywhere else in the kuta area in the future.
We dont mind staying budget and mix it up a bit,last time we booked a few nights in a private villa mid way through and returned to Secret garden inn after only one night in the villa!
Samsara hotel would be another option but they may be fully booked in july as they are becomming quite popular.
