Am interested to hear what others think. I have mainly stayed in resorts (Legian) but two villas (Legian & Seminyak).
Was speaking to a friend the other day - I think he will be on his 24th trip this year and will only stay in resorts - loves the company around the pool etc etc. Could see his point and that's great - I love the privacy of a villa - more intimate and would take a villa any day over a resort especially during school holidays (and I just don't mean Oz school holidays). That also means no hogging the sun lounges etc etc etc.
