Yes it is the same zoo , i too wrote the same content & lots more last July,August about the Bali zoo .I have had a great deal of activity at the zoo of late.Pak Agungs son is back from Singapore ,we are both reversing the wrongs as quickly as possible .Your report is with great truth .I have spent my own time and money to help and mighty glad i did ...Its taken nearly 3 years for me to get the owners to agree to the changes and massive clean up..
The zoo is now full steam ahead to reverse all the wrongs...The last 2 months has seen a great deal of cleaning ,painting & new habitats being planned and built .I do agree with your prior visits being met with mud and smell .The team of workers are working day and night to please .This is not an intentional act from the owners,they are reliant on custom and my help .I am proud to be involved and happy to call the team at the zoo like family .Happy for any comments and advice,i am very sure the zoo owners would love to show you around and have you point out areas of concern .As i have said a lot has been repaired ,replaced and the animals eat like kings ,as well have medical checks and 2 full time vets to oversee the zoo .
