Yes I got mine framed. They do a really good job with packing it. Jus let them know if you intend to have it checked in or hand carry and they will wrap it extra at no add cost .... I had mine hand carry cause it was like my very own treasure .. if you know what I mean :) No excess if it is not bulky.
