I can't agree with you more. Isn't it a standing joke that there are 3 prices in Bali: one for Japanese, one for Australian and one for locals. I have found this when asking a Balinese friend to find out a price for me ( I was sitting at the table so he went over to the stall for me) the stall holder was very surprised then when I went to buy the item. I couldn't believe the difference in price.
