Nanacrepe I now understand about "The Missus." They certainly are a romantic lot to come up with such an imaginative dimmutive as that.
In my case I always refer to what I now know as, The Missus, as "The Good Wahine." Failure to do so could possibly result in more loss of life than the 51 souls who perished that April day in 1968.
You may also recall that the Union Company owned another Ferry in the 50's called Rangatira. A sturdy vessel indeed.
