stormy is right, we were smack bang in the middle of the resort in room 118. The room faces their small gallery. However it was half way to the pool and breakfast area and half way to the reception area. So most guests had to pass our room along the main pathway to get to the beach end of the resort.
When we were on the front terrace, we could only see a small bit of the ocean, but we loved 118 because it wasn't facing a wall! At least we were entertained by a small squirrel in the tree out front each afternoon.
I grabbed a small map of the hotel rooms before we left. If you emailed or faxed the hotel, they should be able to send you a copy.
Deluxe rooms that I would recommend are (upstairs) 213, 214,215 216, these certainly do have a pool view and the ocean but through the trees. Or the lower floor rooms nice garden view and close to the beach pool and breakfast area 113, 114,115,116.
We could sometimes hear the people upstairs walking around, but it wasn't that bad.
If you stay in the beach wing rooms the best are IMO
upstairs 201, 202, 203 204 205, 206 and 212
lower level 101 102 103 104 105 106 and 112.
If you don't like where you are located, just go back to reception and let them know. They really did their best to search for an available room for us, and luckily one was available.
