Hey Denise, we are also leaving Perth but on 18 October. If in doubt, I would get the 30 day visa. Friend has just returned and had major dramas trying to leave Bali as she had a 7 day visa and overstayed this visa by a few hours (because of early morning flights). Nearly missed their flight until they paid 800,000rp and were allowed to leave. It was an extremely traumatic experience for her and her family.
