I have just returned also and my 8 year old daugther suffers as well, I got the ear plugs suitable for kids you can also get adult ones, they worked perfectly no complaints, 1 hr prior to leaving, I got her to blow and hold her nose and I twisted them in her ears, she made the comment that one didnt feel as if it was in so we keeped on trying. Also I took 30ml bottle of eucalyptus oil and a hanky so she could sniff as we where decending, well it worked and she wasnt screaming. Oh I took a bag of chuppa chupps to. Goodluck
