firstly thanks to all on forum for advice and thanks to filos pages [rip]for fishing gear shops.
flew pacific blue from perth[first time garuda last 8 visits]and although flight was late got to champlung mas around 12.30am and had drinks until 3am thank god for 24hr bars. breakfast next morning found out who was still there from previous years and all still happy [what you bring me from aussie?] so handed over the requested shoes ,tee shirts etc and onto the streets.
there is not the desperation i noticed on last visits there are more flights and seats now and most traders seem to be doing better and holding out for a good price.
took our first time friends for an orientation tour to memorial,poppies 2 and then beach and humidity drained us so back to pool and villarisi opposite hotel for dinner, onto bali rock later for drinks, the first time i had been since remodelling. wow.
huge and ultra clean with 5* standard toilets met new manager allison from adelaide lovely girl and great plans for the rock, we love the barstaff and band they even remembered us from the old days,then back to nurse hangover at hotel.
day 2 off with hotel driver bule to safari park, went for a half day last year and it wasnt long enough this year spent 6 hours and didnt even get to water park area, but needed to get to ubud market to get some quilts jack and jim beam king size for 180,000rp
