Advice on exchanging money

Just wondering what you Bali vets recommend when it comes to buying money from Oz before you go on holidays?
We're thinking about heading over in Sept/Oct/Nov, but the dollar seems quite strong 8200 over here at the moment.
Would you advise we get our spending money now?
