We were in Bali April/May. Had booked into the AdiDharma for part of our stay (16 nights). Checked in to 2 rooms (groundfloor). On arrival the aircons were not on - rooms very hot. We turned them on high - went out to lunch - came back 3 hours later - room only a few degrees cooler than when we left (in both rooms). Used the loo - flushed - toilet filled with black slime from the cistern - Gross. Son-in-law used the loo in the 2nd room - it wouldnt flush at all. We decided that we did not want to stay in these rooms - went down the road and booked into Kuta Townhouses (2bed/2bath apartment) - much cheaper and much nicer. Went back to see management at Adidharma- told to come back next day to see boss - first they said they would not give us a refund for 1st night as we did not give them the opportunity to move us into different rooms with working aircons & toilets. 2nd sentence was - wouldn't give us refund because they were fully booked and if we had given them more notice they could have re-let the two rooms. As if anyone would have wanted to stay in them anyway.
