passports!!!! Don't carry around lots of cash either. Particularly when going to nightspots. I still remember a Brit who had "only left her bag for 5 minutes while going to the toilet" in a notorious nightspot.
When packing for an overseas trip, for heavens sake, don't forget to pack the brains and commonsense! :)
