We hired a car in bali at a hire place that let us take the car to Lombok and Sumbawa. Then we caught the ferry from Pandang Bai to Lomobok. Travelled down to Desert Point and stayed at the Aman Gati 2 anf then stayed at Kuta for a few days. Then caught the ferry to Sumbawa but only travelled down to YoYo's and supersucks. We did not go on to Lakey Peak as last year was a bad wet season and the roads were shocking. We paid 150,000rp a day for the car, minimal petrol, most of our accomodation was around 100,000rp a night. We had a great time and would do it again. Still want to visit Sumba!
