All ground airport assistance (at least at the Perth airport) is Qantas staff and this applies to all passengers arriving at the International airport. A few years ago I was ill on a Garuda flight back from Bali, travelling on my own, and was met by ground staff with a wheelchair. As I had prepaid for duty free the staff member stopped and picked it up. They insisted that I went to hospital for a check up and as I was feeling a bit scared by this time the Qantas staff memeber came in the ambvulance with me. She was absolutely wonderful. I am sorry to hear that you did not get the same treatment, Geri. I hope that you are feeling much better and will be on the mend as soon as possible. Please keep us informed of your progress.
