Although such comparisons are somewhat pointless, a small bottle of "Australian" beer, may be around AUD6 and an "Import" may be AUD 7 or 8.
This equates to around a factor of X4 of cost.
The numbers you give equate to around a factor X7.
However, outgoings and expenses in Aus are much higher in justifying the price of the product, and therefor comparison is invalid.
I think a stroll to the beach, and a coldie at 15K is an attractive proposition when faced with that sort of pricing.
