The most common reason you get sore teeth during takeoff and landing is because the tips of the roots in the upper teeth are in the sinus cavities. During takeoff and landing the difference in altitude causes an increase in pressure in the sinuses and voila your teeth hurt. Your bottom teeth may hurt a bit too because of referred pain but its mostly the top molars. This pain is really common and normal. If it hurts more or differently to this you might have a dodgy tooth.
