It's possible to hire a car for a week...make sure that you ask for a discount cos you'll hire longer.
Most place require driving license...some don't really care.
Please make sure that the car is insured (make sure you've got insurance paperwork in your hand) or else...they would say that it's insured...but it's actually not. Most cars are manual.
