we just went (as first timers) to Sunset view (i think it was called) recommended by chaps at rama beach hotel. It was great. the service was fantastic (i think this is important). The food was wonderful and they talked us through everything and did not try to rip us off. We had snapper, crab and jumbo prawns and drinks. A seat at the front and all for less than NZ $80. More food than we could eat and great ambience. what more can you ask for. We went at 4:30ish - early, but commandered best spot and meant we got food before all the large tours rolled in.
