its all over. toilets inside the airport are not up to scratch and facilities in general are certainly not of an international airport standard.
the corruption is so rife at the airport that i doubt it will ever get cleaned up.
did you know that the porters have to pay the 'security' (and i use that term very loosely) a cut of their 'tips' for them to be looked after. if the porters (who have to pay a 'deposit' of over 40m Rp in order to get a job there) do not share their tips, then they do not get looked after in the event of a problem.
this is only one of the many problems that Ngurah Rai airport faces.
