Hi,
I have been traveling to Bali know for many years but on this trip due to flight changes with Garuda, will know be stopping over in Jakarta (most upset had planed to be by the pool just in time for happy hour). Can anybody tell me what happens with visa's. Garuda have told us we pay this at Jakarta? Does that mean we will get throu customs at DPS quickly?
Also I have read a number of reports re: Melasti Beach Resort (MBR) regarding belongings missing form rooms etc... I have been staying at this resort for that last 10 or so years, have noted over this time the decline in room standards.Was wondering if there was any other regulars who felt the same, esspecially due to the noteable hike in the prices. Also I have to agree with some of the feed back re: reception staff and there stand off additude. Oh well staying there form another month this year in Oct-Nov 09, as we do love the staff there and have become very close to them. So will give it another go.
