Restaurants - try The Square and the Bumbu in the evenings, Taman or Asmara for breakfast or lunch and for a Jimbaran style BBQ fish without the hassle of Jimbaran, Warung Menega. For a cheap local meal try the warung near the post office in Senggigi that sets up at night...if you can get a seat. All these are in Senggigi area except Menega a little further south. After dinner pick a place for live music. Ashtari down Kuta Lombok way good for lunch and views.
Fantastic views of the coast going north towards Rinjani and there are waterfalls. Down south, white beaches, good surf. Villages that do weaving and pottery (world famous) tend to always be on the tour driver's route and can be fun and interesting. A number of pearl shops including a strip where Indonesians from Jakarta always visit, driver will know where. Some older Balinese temples and cute mosques though non muslims can't enter mosques in Indonesia.
