Ground floor - right next to pool, can sit on your balcony and watch your kids
First floor - include the step factor and some apartments have large balconies where you can sit and enjoy the view over the pool.
The pool is like warm bathwater from Nov to about Feb/March then cooler. It is very deep but has a shallow kids pool at the end.
