The locals love kids, but a few years back we watched as the life guards pulled a kid out of the water on Legian beach, she (the babysitter) was playing with the toddler and didn't see the older one drowning! OMG, it was horrible, the child plucked from the ocean was ok, it could have been worse.
I wonder if the parents ever found out?
