is very quick now. Start the process on the net and then print off the form. Take it to the post office with photos and it takes just under two weeks. This is the time taken in November and March. You can track the progress of the application on the net. If you are worried that it will take too long, you can pay an extra fee at any stage before the process and even during the process to fast track it.
