Hi i went first time last octber with my mum her friend and my 13 yera old daughter. I bought a cheap address book like a little mini binder that i could write on and slip in alphabetical. Took my own little bali bible with adresses, phone numbers, names restaurants places to go and visit and things to do. Was great if in doubt about naythign i had it written somewhere in my book. But funny thing was as soon as i got there kind of went out the window. There was such a sensory overload at first but inthe end i just went with the flow. We where not there to try and do everything but in the end i used it as a fact finding mision to get my bearings for next time yipppeeeeeee there wil be a next time too hopefully this year. So perhaps my advise and this is only mien just take it slowly and go with the flow do what you want and dont lock yourself in to anythign. Take a few days to begin with to just get used of everyhting. Others get on her that have been there heaps and talk abotu this and that and i still have no idea where that street was or that restaurant its quite funny actually. Your children will have a ball. myabe if you have one take a portable dvd player with you great for the kids to relax and watch one of the many hundred dvds you will buy hehehehehe. Cheers enjoy have fun and then maybe return liek I will.
