You can buy tickets over in Bali at one of the tourist booths, so shop around for a good price. They pick you up and take you to benoa harbour where you get on a big catamaran boat and it takes about 1 hour to get to nusa lembongan. You then disembark onto the island and you are set up at a resort where you can snorkel or banana boat rides or a village trip.
You get a really nice BBQ lunch which includes seafood. its a really great day out.
