I did this ride from Mt Batur lookout to the elephant park at taro (approx 20kms) with Bali Adventure Tours. I could not fault the day as exhausted as I was. What an experience to see bali as it really is. We finished up at the elephant park and got to feed and touch the elephants before a really nice buffet lunch (tons of food). They had support the wjole way, lots of water , good bikes and nice cold towels to wipe face/hands after ride. I could not say there was anything wrong with this perfect day. I will be going back to do it in June! I think the cost was approx $100 on the net but you may get it cheaper from hotel or booth in bali. Have a wonderful time and take some small gifts for the families you may meet on the way.
